Wednesday 1st October
Meet & greet & fishing comp briefing, including rules & categories, current fishing conditions, what’s biting
and a map of the area including green zones will be included.

Thursday 2nd October
The fishing competition starts with the opportunity to target
hundreds of species in freshwater, estuary, reef and Bluewater. From
Jungle perch to Mangrove Jack, Barramundi to Spanish mackerel, and Giant
trevally to Coral trout… Hinchinbrook offers it all!

Friday 3rd October
Because Hinchinbrook offers so many fishing options, this year we’re giving
anglers the opportunity to fish an extra day!

Non-fishers will also have the chance to tag along on a guided tour of Hinchinbrook and planned activities.

After the days fishing anglers can scrub off in a well-earned shower before
making their way the Lucinda Hotel for the annual Presentation Dinner.

Saturday 4th October
Fishing commences again and finishes late morning. All
captures must be presented to the officials at the Hinchinbrook
clubhouse at the allotted time.
The Hinchinbrook Sportfishing club will be providing lunch followed by presentations.
The ANSA QLD AGM will commence after presentation of the fishing
awards.
